    Trustworthy

    Ghost makes full image backup. Symantec's Norton Ghost does excellent work and allows you to customize a partial backup-by backing up individual files and folders you choose. It's easy to use, and works great with an external hard drive. I've used the 2003 DOS version; the new Ghost 11 is even better---improved. If a disaster should occur the installation disc serves as a recovery disc and will restore your Windows PC to its previous state. Most useful for me for retrieving older versions of files that have changed or been deleted or a specific restore point after some other software messes up. And should you need customer support---Symantec provides it like no other. More trustworthy than Windows XP Restore. Don't worry be happy because ghost has you covered.

    Incredible!

    Norton Ghost is incredible! Twice I have had to have my computer wiped clean, and believe me, it is a pain. Not only does it take forever to get it running like it used to with the same programs, but all my Word documents and photos were lost, gone forever. Those are things that cannot be replaced. But now, thanks to Norton Ghost, I have the peace of mind knowing that my computer will be its old self if it ever has to be wiped clean again. This is not only a useful product, but it's so easy to use. If you want peace of mind about your computer's hard drive, files, and programs, then you should use Norton Ghost.     Best way to back up and restore drives and partitions.

    I have been using Ghost since its inception and have found it to be the best way to back up and restore drives and partitions. When I first started using it I was working in computer technical support and we used it primarily to create specific images to be installed on multiple computers so that they were all uniformly set up. It worked so well for that purpose that I purchased it for myself and have been using it to make backups of my computers on a weekly basis ever since. All it takes is for some kind of malware to sneak onto your computer and cause problems or just to wind up with a lot of useless clutter that slows your computer to a crawl or, worse yet, to cause it to hang and not even boot. Then you will be glad you used Ghost to back everything up so you can restore your computer to an earlier time when it was working correctly. Believe me, I know what it is like to have BSOD on boot and not know how or why it happened, but I can always go back to an earlier configuration and be back working in just a few minutes.

    Been using Norton/PC Tools/Dr Soloman since 1992 am now retired and have Norton as my standard security. It catches and kills viruses and keeps hackers out.

    Very professional and easy to use!

    I feel totally secure in using any of the Norton products. I have been using them for years and am not only safe from any virus but can use one of my backups that I created with Ghost in the event something goes wrong with my PC. Very professional and easy to use, they just keep getting better.
